30-day return window

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of the delivery date shown on the carrier tracking record. The return request must be approved (RMA issued) before you ship the item back.

Certification fees are non-refundable

Lab testing and certificate fees are charged at ¥260 CNY (approx. $36 / ¥5,500 / ₩49,000 / Rp600.000) per piece. Exact converted amounts on your invoice follow the rate used when the quote is issued. These fees are non-refundable in all cases: they are paid to the laboratory when the service is performed and have already been incurred by the time of sale or dispatch. On an approved return we refund the jewelry purchase price (and shipping where this policy says shipping is refundable); the certification / testing fee line is kept.

How to start a return (step by step)

1. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp with your order / invoice number, SKU, delivery date, and reason for return.
2. We reply within one business day with an RMA number and the return shipping address.
3. Pack the jewelry in its original packaging with the lab certificate, gift box, and all tags. Include the RMA number on the outer carton.
4. Ship with tracked, insured postage and send us the tracking number.
5. After we receive and inspect the item (typically 3–7 business days), we confirm the refund outcome in writing.

What qualifies for a return

• Unused, unworn, undamaged jewelry in sellable condition
• Original packaging, tags, and lab certificate included
• Request submitted within 30 days of delivery
• RMA approved before the parcel is shipped back

Non-returnable or limited cases

• Items worn, resized, engraved, or damaged after delivery
• Missing certificate, tags, or original packaging
• Custom or made-to-order pieces (stated on the quote)
• Requests made after the 30-day window
• Lab certification / testing fee of ¥260 CNY per piece (already incurred; not refundable)

Authenticity & quality guarantee

If an independent gemological lab you choose (or one we agree on) finds that a sold piece is not natural untreated Type A jade as described, or fails to match the certificate material statement, we will refund the jewelry price plus original outbound shipping. You do not pay return shipping in that case. Separately charged certification fees remain non-refundable because the laboratory service has already been performed.

Who pays return shipping

• Our error, damage in transit, or authenticity issue: Veridian Jade pays return shipping (or provides a prepaid label).
• Change of mind / personal preference: the buyer pays tracked, insured return shipping. Outbound shipping is non-refundable in this case unless otherwise stated on the invoice.

Refund timeline & method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection is complete. The refund amount equals the jewelry price (plus any shipping we owe under this policy), minus non-refundable certification fees. Bank or card networks may take additional time to post the credit. We do not issue store credit unless you request it.

Partial refunds

If an item is returned incomplete, worn, or damaged beyond normal inspection handling, we may offer a partial refund or decline the return. We will explain the finding with photos before any decision is final.

Exchanges

Because each jade piece is unique, we usually process a refund and help you select a replacement rather than a like-for-like exchange. Availability is confirmed before any new invoice is issued.
